About Hurt
An occasional hurt is normal, but pain that goes on for a long time may indicate a problem. Pain is the way that the body warns us that something is wrong. Pain is an unpleasant experience we've all felt. Its the feeling we get when a toe gets stubbed, when lemon juice squirts in your eyes, or you forget to wash your hands before you go to the bathroom after cutting-up spicy peppers. It's the body's natural reaction to protect a healing part of the body, and to remind us not to do the thing that hurt us anymore.
