If you were standing at 33 degrees North, 113 degrees West, where would you look to find Polaris, the North Star?
Look in the Northern part of the sky for "the Big Dipper", . The seven stars are all bright and the shape is very easy to recognize and find. Imagine a line drawn across the outermost two stars in the "cup" of the dipper, and extend this line about 5 times the distance between those two stars. The imaginary line points almost exactly at Polaris. ChaCha On!
