Hindu Karma in Indian religions is the concept of "action" or "deed", understood as that which causes the entire cycle of cause and effect. Dharma means Law or Natural Law (as in the natural order of things) and is a concept of central importance in Indian philosophy and religion. In Hinduism the soul (atman) is immortal while the body is subject to birth and death. Brahma is the Hindu god (deva) of creation and one of the Trimurti, the others being Vishnu and Shiva.
