In the novel Running Loose what chapter does louie get kicked off the team?
Lucious: "I didn’t live up to the standards of the program. Unfortunately, I let my teammates, my coaches, and myself down.." Louie’s coach tells his team that the only way to win their next game is to injure their player which eventually turns out to happen. Louie, appalled by this, goes on a vocal rampage and starts yelling at his own coach and gets kicked off the team and banned from all extracurricular activities. Becky, fortunately, stays with him through this until she gets into a car accident and dies. Torn apart by her death, Louie takes up cross-country running despite his ban in Running Loose.
