In the story the great Gatsby what does nick mean when he notes that the illusion of ones world breaks down when outsiders enter it?
I believe in that quote Nick means that when everyone else starts entering your world of illusion, you realize how it's not as it seems and it falls apart when you realize it. ChaCha for now!
