Is a baby's soft spot suppose to pulse?
Fontanelles are soft spots on a baby's head which, during birth, enable the bony plates of the skull to flex, allowing the child's head to pass through the birth canal. There are lots of nerves and blood vessels running through the head so seeing a pulse is perfectly normal. My newphew's pulsed, but my son's did not as his fontanelle was super tiny.
