Is a boat a type of ship?

Topics: TravelBoats

Answer

The difference between a boat and a ship is that a boat is much smaller. Ferries, cargo ships, and big water vessels are considered ships. Row boats, canoes, sail boats and other smaller water transportation systems are considered boats. Therefore, a boat is not a type of ship.
