Jess Switalska

A civil war is a war between organized groups within the same nation state or republic, or, less commonly, between two countries created from a formerly-united nation state. It is not "civil" in the usual definition of the term (as in polite, quiet) in fact civil wars are usually high intensity, violent conflicts.
