Is a emulsion a colloidal dispersion of a liquid in a gas?
Emulsion is a mixture consisting of two liquids that do not mix and settle into layers when they are left standing undisturbed. Colloidal Dispersions are mixtures with characteristics part way between a solution and a suspension which do not settle.
