About SUV
A sport utility vehicle (SUV) is a term used to describe a vehicle that combines the benefits of a truck with much more passenger and cargo space. A SUV is normally equipped with four-wheel drive, good off-road ability and a high towing capacity. Although very popular in the 90's and early 2000's, SUV sales are beginning to drop due to their bad fuel economy and the rising gas prices. The crossover is a smaller version of the SUV that has stole the early success of the SUV.

The Expedition is a full-size SUV that is produced by Ford. The Expedition is built on the F-150 truck platform and is currently Ford's largest SUV. It is offered in a standard model and a larger extra length (EL) model. The Expedition is Ford's best off-road and towing capable SUV.
