About Turkey
Turkeys are a large type of bird related to the grouse, and probably one of the most famous birds in North America. In fact, Benjamin Franklin wanted the turkey to be the national bird instead of the bald eagle. They have a distinctive fleshy bit called a wattle that hangs down from the beak.
