About Mississippi
Mississippi is a southern US state that was admitted to the Union on December 10, 1817 as the 20th state. The state is named after the Mississippi river which flows in the western part of the state. Jackson, which is the largest city (173,861- 2008 population est.), holds the capital seat.
About Oklahoma
Oklahoma, located in the central United States, is bordered by New Mexico, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, and Texas. Its climate is moderate with warm summers and cold winters.
