Is alcohol forbidden in Islam?
Muslims are encouraged not to use products containing gelatin. Skittles have gelatin so Muslims shouldn't be tasting the rainbow! Muslims are forbidden to consume, buy or sell alcohol. The Q'uran says there is good and bad in in it, but the bad is greater.

About Islam
Islam is one of three monotheistic religions (including Christianity and Judaism), as defined by the Qur’an (or Koran) and by the life and teachings of Muhammad,, the last prophet of God. Adherents of Islam - Muslims - teach that Islam is the true, restored faith that has been revealed in the past, dating back to Abraham (the father of Judaism). There are two major denominations of Muslims - Sunni and Shi'a.
