Is an IQ test a very trusted measurement of intelligence?
Yes, IQ scores are a good way to measure intelligence. IQ scores have been shown to be associated with such factors as morbidity and mortality, parental social status, and, to a substantial degree, parental IQ.

About IQ Score
IQ score is the score arrived at after taking an IQ (Intelligence Quotient) test. People with IQs of 120 and above are considered 'Superior-Very Superior' in intellect. Newer methods of testing make the term 'quotient' inaccurate, but the term has survived regardless.
