About Botox
Botox Cosmetic is a dermatological procedure intended to improve the appearance of wrinkles on the face. A solution is injected into the muscles, blocking nerve impulses at the injection site to decrease muscle movement and diminish the appearance of "moderate to severe frown lines." The injections only provide temporary results, however, and must be repeated about every four months.
