Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (Modern Warfare 3, MW3) is the 8th video game in the Call of Duty series, and is a direct sequel to Modern Warfare 2. The biggest addition is the new SpecOps 'Survival' mode, where two players fight off endless waves of tactical enemies. MW3 released on November 8, 2011 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, PC, and Nintendo DS. It was the biggest entertainment launch ever, with around 12 million copies sold in the first week alone!
