Casey Anthony Update 8/15: Casey Anthony and her legal team will appeal the order that would force her back to Orlando to serve supervised probation. On Fri, Orange County Chief Judge Belvin Perry ruled that Casey Anthony must serve one year of supervised probation for a check-fraud conviction. She is required to report no later than noon on August 26. The probation order states that she can't leave the county of her residence', but the judge ruled her address can be kept confidential.

Casey Anthony Update 7/7: Casey Anthony will be released from jail on July 13, 2011 after being found not guilty of murdering her 2 year old daughter. Judge Belvin Perry sentenced Anthony to four years in jail, one year for each of her four convictions of lying to authorities, but with credit for time served and good behavior, her release date was set for July 13, 2011. He also fined her $1,000 for each count.

Casey Anthony was found not guilty in the 2008 death of her 2 year old daughter Caylee. Even though Caylee was missing for over a month before being reported to the police, had duct tape around her mouth, and chloroform was found in Casey's car and searched on her computer; she was only convicted of 4 counts of providing false information to police. In the state of Florida, each charge carries with it a 4 year sentence. In the case of Casey Anthony, the Judge could rule that all four counts be served concurrently and not back-to-back.
