Google is not "still on that SOPA strike." Google never shut down, it blacked out its logo on its main page on 1/18/12. The Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA), H.R. 3261, is a bill introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives on October 26, 2011, by House Judiciary Committee Chair Representative Lamar S. Smith (R-TX) and a bipartisan group of 12 initial co-sponsors.
