Is it a penalty if you putt a ball with the back side of the players putter, when playing golf?
When you are putting in golf, and have a 'tap in' either after chipping or missing a previous putt, it is not a penalty if you finish the hole by tapping in with the back side of your putter. Technically, you could putt with any club in your bag.
