Is it bad for turtles to sleep all day?
No it is not unusual for a turtle to sleep all day. He maybe hibernating or that just might be its sleep pattern. As long as it gets up to eat and moves around then all should be well. ChaCha!!

Most people need at least 8 hours of sleep per day in order to function at their highest level. Not getting enough sleep can increase the risks of cancer, heart disease, obesity and diabetes.
