Is it faster to defrost food in hot or room temperature water?
It is better to defrost food in COOL water. Bacteria likes to live in warm or room temperature water. So to avoid food borne illness, use cool water and cook immediately after thawing. Also, thaw food in a plastic baggie. ChaCha with me again soon!
