Illness from mosquitoes such as Dengue Fever and Malaria can cause severe fevers.Fevers can be symptoms of many diseases and conditions and are the body's attempt to get rid of toxins in the body. When a fever 'breaks', or goes down, it is often a sign that the disease has been overcome. Fevers can be dangerous if extreme.
