Is it legal to dock a salaried person's time when they're late or miss work and yet NOT pay them overtime when they work a large amount of overtime?
As long as it is in the same week, yes it is legal for them to not pay overtime, overtime is considered anything over 40 hrs/week so if you are off the clock for half an hour on Monday and have to stay half an hour on Thursday then they even each other out, as long as your time is not over 40 hours a week. This is within each week not pay-period so watch your hours. ChaCha
