Is it normal to have sharp pain in my stomach if I'm hungry?
Hunger pains can be quite painful & feel sharp if you're really hungry. Hunger contractions are usually most intense in young people, who often have a higher degree of gastrointestinal 'muscle tone' than older people. Thanks!

About Pain
Pain is an unpleasant experience we've all felt. Its the feeling we get when a toe gets stubbed, when lemon juice squirts in your eyes, or you forget to wash your hands before you go to the bathroom after cutting-up spicy peppers. It's the body's natural reaction to protect a healing part of the body, and to remind us not to do the thing that hurt us anymore.
