Is it possible to get a tan from laying outside when its only 60 degrees?
Tanning is your skin's response to exposure to ultraviolet radiation. When the skin is damaged by UV rays, melanin is formed to filter out the UV rays the next time the skin is exposed. So, the more you expose yourself to the sun, the more melanin you build up and the tanner you get. It has nothing to do with the temperature. ChaCha on!
