Is it rare for a 22-year-old to get colon cancer?
It is somewhat rare for a 233 year old to have colon cancer, but it is not impossible. Of course most people with colon cancer are 50 and over. However, this is usually attributed to polyps, which one in four people over 50 have. Virtually all colon cancer develops from adenomatous polyps in the colon, generally referred to simply as colon polyps. Thanks for using ChaCha!
