Is it rare when someone is infected with the West Nile Virus?
It's not rare, however the symptoms are high fever, stiff neck and back, headaches, confusion and weak muscles. If you suspect you have it you should go see a doctor immediately. ChaCha on!

About West Nile Virus
According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) West Nile virus (WNV) is a potentially serious seasonal (summer/fall) illness for which there is no specific treatment. Avoid mosquito bites by using repellent and wearing long sleeves. In mild cases people experience symptoms such as fever and aches that pass on their own, although even healthy people have become sick for several weeks.
