Is it safe to swim in non-chlorine water with a new tattoo?
It is never safe to submerge your new tattoo for long periods of time. Chlorinated water will remove your coloring, and non-chlorinated water will allow bacteria into the wound to cause an infection. You must allow the tattooed area to heal for at least two weeks before submerging it in any kind of water for long periods of time. Keep up the ChaCha!
