Is it state law in Texas that waiters and waitresses have to split tips with each other?
There are no laws regarding waiters and waitresses splitting their tips. Generally the restaurant itself has rules regarding splitting tips among the rest of the help, such as, * 1% to the hostess,5% to the bartender,and 13.4% to the busboys.
