Is it true that there are no bugs in hawaii?
There are no mosquitoes there. Or at least none that found me. If you stand on the beach in Florida at sundown, you’ll be eaten alive by a horde of opportunistic mosquitoes. Our first night, I went down to Waikiki beach, and watched the sunset as a Hawaiian band played gently in the background. No mosquitoes. We left our hotel balcony doors wide open all night. No bugs. I was amazed. I didn’t even SEE a bug until day four.
