Is it true there is a three strike rule against an adult hitting a minor?
Under Penal Code section 667(d)(3), a juvenile adjudication is a strike if it has three factors. First, the child must be 16 years or older at the time of the offense. Next, offense must be listed under penal code section 1192.7 or penal code section 667.5(c). Last, the minor was adjudicated a ward for an offense listed in Welfare and Institutions Code section 707(b).
