Is kim jong ill dead?
Kim Jong-il (AKA Yuri Irsenovich Kim, 2/16/1941 - 12/17/2011) was the ruler of North Korea. In 2010, he was ranked 31st in Forbes Magazine's List of The World's Most Powerful People. The North Korean government announced his death on 19 December 2011. His successor is yet to be announced.

Kim Jong il was the supreme leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, or North Korea, from 1994 until his death in 2011. Known for combining communism, unauthorized nuclear weapons program and general craziness, he is thought to have died from complications from cancer on December 17 2011.
