Kmart purchased Sears. Kmart Holdings Corp changed name to Sears Holdings Corp, still operates under Sears & Kmart brands... Doesn't look like they are!

Kmart is a retail chain of discount department stores in the United States, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Guam. Kmart bought Sears stores in 2005 creating a new company under the name Sears Holdings Corporation. Kmart is the third largest discount chain store in the world behind Walmart and Target. All three chains were founded in 1962.
