Is mascara made of bat poop?
The common, primary ingredients in mascaras are pigments, oils, waxes and water. There is no bat poop in mascara. Thank you!

No. The compound used in some cosmetics (including mascara) for a pearly, opalescent shine is guanine.

No. Guano is bat poop, and will burn the eyes. Guanine is from fish scales and is for use as a color additive in eye cosmetics.
