Is pole vaulting more dangerous than being on a motercycle?
Pole vaulting can be a dangerous sport, possibly more dangerous for some than others. If you discipline yourself to learn the fundamentals and use safe equipment, pole vaulting should be no more dangerous than playing football, soccer, or wrestling with your friends during track meets. As for compared to riding a motorcycle...probably just depends on how safely you ride!
