The PlayStation Network is Sony's free online multiplayer gaming and digital media service for the PlayStation 3, PSP, and PS Vita. On April 19, 2011, the PlayStation Network was the target of a massive hack, as the personal information of millions of users was stolen. The service went down for nearly a month before coming back online in the US.
