Is Ron Paul a libertarian?
Ron Paul, Texas' House of Representative congressman, was born August 20, 1935 in Pittsburg PA. He has been a Texas House Rep since April 1976. Paul has run for President of the United States twice, first in 1988 as the nominee of the Libertarian Party and again in 2008 as a candidate for the Republican nomination. On April 26, 2011, he announced he would run again in 2012 as a Republican. Paul has been called the 'intellectual grandfather' of the Tea Party movement. ChaCha's always here for you

About Ron Paul
Ron Paul was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on August 20, 1935. He attended Gettysburg College and earned a B.S. in Biology. He attended Duke University School of Medicine where he received his Doctorate in Medicine. After completion of medical school, he served in the U.S. Air Force as a flight surgeon. Ron Paul is the Republican Congressman from the 14th district in Texas. He ran for President in 2008, and announced on May 13, 2011 that he would be running for the GOP Presidential nomination.
