Illegal As of October 20, 2011, Salvia is legal in Kentucky. In February 2009 Representative Will Coursey was reported as having introduced a bill that would make possession of Salvia divinorum a Class B misdemeanor, punishable by up to 90 days. It was referred to the House Judiciary Committee for consideration.
