Mountain Dew is a citrus soft drink manufactured by PepsiCo. The original formula was developed in the 1940’s in the southern US by Bill (William) Jones. In 1964, the soft drink was distributed across the United States. As of October 15th, 2008 the soft drink logo was redesigned as a shortened version of the full name as just 'Mtn Dew'

Dr Pepper is America's oldest soft drink brand. It was introduced in 1895 in Waco, Texas by a drug store owner named Wade Morrison, who possibly named the drink after Dr. Charles Pepper, the father of a girl he was once in love with.
