About Sega Dreamcast
The Sega Dreamcast is a video game console originally released in 1998. It was the first generation six home gaming console, coming out before the PlayStation 2, XBox, and GameCube. The system was discontinued in 2001 and also marked Sega's departure from gaming hardware. The device still retains a strong cult following and Sega continues to re-release old Dreamcast games on new systems.
