Pregnancy is the state of carrying a developing embryo or fetus. Signs of pregnancy can occur as early as a few days after fertilization, and tests are accurate as early as six to eight days after ovulation.
About Early Pregnancy
Early pregnancy is usually considered the first trimester, or first three months, of the pregnancy, with a typical full-term pregnancy lasting nine months. During this time, great care must be taken to follow a proper diet, visit a doctor regularly and be careful not to engage in any behavior which may harm a developing fetus, such as smoking or drinking alcohol, as in all stages of pregnancy.
