Is Steve jobs alive?
Apple Inc. announced on Oct. 5, 2011 that their co-founder, Steve Jobs, had died at the age of 56 of pancreatic cancer. Jobs had announced his resignation as Apple CEO on Aug 24, 2011. The homepage of Apple's website switched to a full-page image of Jobs with the text, 'Steve Jobs 1955-2011.' Steve passed around 7:30 pm.

Steve Jobs was the co-founder and former CEO of Apple Inc. Steven Paul Jobs, born February 24, 1955 in San Francisco, CA, was known for his marketing and design genius. Jobs also co-founded Pixar Animation Studios (previously The Graphics Group) and served as CEO until 2006 when Disney acquired Pixar. After the acquisition of Pixar, Steve joined Disney's board of directors. Mr. Jobs, after transforming computers and culture in major ways, died on October 5, 2011, at the age of 56, after nearly ten years of illness, including a bout of pancreatic cancer.
