Is the 4th quarter moon the same as a full moon?
No. A Full moon is within the third quarter of the moon's phase. After the Full moon, comes the 4th quarter where the moon begins to appear less and less till the new moon comes into view. ChaCha!

About Moon
The moon is a planet that revolves around the Earth. Reflection from the sun's rays make the moon 'shine'; it does not give out light of its own. In ancient times the Moon was thought to represent the feminine nature, while the Sun was thought to represent the more active, male nature.
