Is the Tsetse fly the primary organism that transmits malaria to humans?
The Tsetse fly is one common source of malaria transmission, however the primary organism which transmits malaria is actually the Anopheles mosquito, which transmits the Plasmodium Falciparum, the primary protozoan parasite which causes malaria.

About Organism
Any type of life is an organism. All organisms are capable of response to stimuli, reproduction, growth and development, and maintenance of homoeostasis as a stable whole.
About Malaria
If someone had to describe Malaria in one word, it would be either brutal, or mosquitos. Both would be right. The disease is spread by mosquitos; and a brutal and indiscriminate killer for the last 50,000 years. It has killed world leaders, brought down empires, and decided wars. It plagued American and Japanese troops in the Pacific theater and workers constructing the Panama Canal. Alexander the Great, George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and Gandhi contracted malaria a few times. Heck, even Anderson Cooper, Chris Mathhews and George Clooney have contracted malaria.
