Yes. We are in Iraq to locate weapons of mass destruction and fight terrorism. We have been in war since 2001, after the September 11th attacks.

The World Trade Center and the Pentagon were both hit by hijacked airplanes, and another airplane that was destined for the White House was brought down by civilians in a field in Pennsylvania. A remembrance tower for the thousands of missing and dead has been built on the space where the twin towers once stood.
