Is there any functional difference between meiosis II and mitosis?
Mitosis results in the separation of each chromosome into its sister chromatids as does meiosis II except that in meiosis II the number of chromosomes is half that of mitosis. That is the only difference. The processes are the same otherwise. ChaCha on!
