Is there any science behind the end of the world, I'm talking about 2012?
Part of the 2012 end times mystique stems from the stars. On the winter solstice in 2012, the sun will be aligned with the center of the Milky Way for the first time in about 26,000 years. But scholars doubt that ancient Maya were thinking of it.
