Is there something up with Verizon towers?
A 5.9 magnitude earthquake that just hit outside of Washington D.C. and up along the east coast is affecting the Verizon network. Verizon has indicated that they are aware of the issue and user reports are indicating that the network is jammed. Verizon customers are advised to use email or SMS messages to communicate with friends and family. No damage has been reported to the network or cell towers but you may receive a busy signal as you attempt to call friends or family.
