About Skiing
Skiing is a type of recreational sport or activity that utilizes skis (long, flat piece of equipment for the foot designed to glide) for traveling over the snow. The ski is connected to a boot with a specific binder so that skiers can hook their boots directly into the skis. Vertical poles are also used to maintain stability and balance.
About Wakeboarding
Wakeboarding is a relatively new water sport that is a bit like surfing, a bit like snowboarding, and a bit like water skiing. The wake boarder is pulled behind a boat at somewhere between 18 and 20 mph with the boat's trim all the way up to make a biggest wake possible. The wakeboarder then uses the boat's wake as a launching pad to do all sorts of rad tricks.
