Is walking through a magnetic field bad for you?
The past conclusion that extremely low frequency magnetic fields are possibly carcinogenic is still valid. Indeed epidemiological studies indicated that children exposed to relatively strong magnetic fields from power lines were more likely to develop leukemia, but this has not been confirmed or explained by experiments on animals and cell cultures.
